Responsibilities
  • Preparation, execution and evaluation of tests on drill cores made of concrete, masonry and other building materials
  • Determination of compressive strengths, bulk densities, water absorption, and other material characteristics
  • Sample collection, sample preparation and documentation of the examination results
  • Operation, monitoring and maintenance of modern laboratory and testing equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, norms and occupational safety regulations
Qualifications
  • Completed training as a chemical laboratory assistant (m/f/d), physics laboratory assistant (m/f/d), building material inspector (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification
  • Ideally, first experience in the field of building material testing, concrete technology or material testing
  • Technical understanding and interest in buildings and construction materials
  • Careful, structured and independent working style
  • Safe handling of MS Office applications
  • Teamwork and a sense of responsibility
  • Driver's license class B desirable
